Evolve Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine seeks to change patients’ perspectives on what physical therapy can be and the role it can play in their lives. Our physical therapists use unique methods of manual blood flow restriction therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic cupping and ultramodern recovery systems to separate and elevate the process of diagnosis and treatment of injury, as well as the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. In addition to a customized treatment plan, we offer a variety of self-pay sessions, including dry needling, Normatec, and strength and functional training to optimize and maintain health and prevent future injury.

FOUNDER’S STORY

Evolve Physical Therapy was founded in September 2023 by Dr. Will Brucker and his wife, Lauren, with a clear vision: to provide a truly personalized approach to physical therapy and sports performance. After years of treating athletes from the Denver Broncos, Nuggets, Rapids, and Rockies, Dr. Brucker saw an opportunity to bring his expertise and patient-first mindset closer to home. Together, Will and Lauren opened Evolve in Brookfield, with a “quality over quantity” approach at the core of everything we do.

Our clinic is built on the belief that healing and performance go hand in hand. Will’s background in sports rehabilitation and functional mobility informs every aspect of our practice, from individualized treatment plans to the use of advanced, evidence-based techniques like dry needling and manual therapy. But Evolve isn’t just about treating injuries—it’s about helping every patient achieve their best, whether they’re recovering from surgery, improving mobility, or enhancing performance.

Meet the Team

Will Brucker, DPT, CSCS, IDN, PRS

Dr. Will Brucker earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of New England. Before starting Evolve Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, he was a practicing physical therapist specializing in the management of sports rehabilitation, post surgical progression, and functional mobility for several years in Denver, CO, where he treated athletes from the Denver Broncos, Nuggets, Rapids and Rockies. Dr. Brucker takes an individualized approach to each patient, synthesizing a specific plan to meet their goals. He emphasizes the importance of altering pain and dysfunction through dry needling and manual therapy techniques, complemented by specific movement patterns to maximize patient outcomes. Outside of work, Will enjoys golfing, lifting weights, taking his dog on adventures, and hanging out with his wife and friends.

Brittany Bergman, DPT, CMPT, PCES, IDN, PRS

Dr. Brittany Bergman has gained valuable clinical experience working in several outpatient orthopedic clinics with people of all ages and backgrounds after her own experience as a high school and collegiate level athlete. Brittany has completed a specialty certification in Manual Therapy which allows her to use advanced hands-on treatment techniques and assessment practices. Brittany also treats pelvic floor PT, which includes treating women with pelvic pain and incontinence concerns. She enjoys working with this population to make a meaningful difference for women of all ages and help them achieve their goals, whatever they may be. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys being involved in the community, especially during warm summer months. She enjoys playing golf, running with her dog, catching up on her favorite TV shows, and traveling with her husband.

Anne Hartay, DPT, IDN, PRS

Dr. Anni Hartay earned her B.S. in Kinesiology, Rehabilitation Science, from UW-Eau Claire in 2020, and went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Concordia University Wisconsin. She has experience working with both orthopedic and neurological populations, including time at Froedtert Hospital in the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Progressive Care Unit. Anni takes a whole-body approach to care, viewing the body as a “puzzle” to uncover the root cause of symptoms and guide individualized treatment. She’s passionate about using evidence-based techniques to help patients move better, feel stronger, and take an active role in their recovery. Outside of the clinic, Anni enjoys weightlifting and running, reading a good book, and spending time with her cat, Arrow.

Amy Reese, Office Manager

Amy earned her B.S in Design Arts and Business Administration in 2014, and has since loved working in a small business environment where coworkers feel like family. She brings a blend of creativity and customer service to the office manager role through her experience as a floral designer and shop manager at a local flower shop. Focusing on her love of customer connection has helped her succeed in client facing roles. Outside of work, Amy enjoys hiking, road biking, and camping with her husband and two dogs.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering preventative and rehabilitative care, including evaluation, treatment planning, program implementation, and patient education. Proven work experience as a physical therapist.
